"A" DIVISION
SLOPPY WIN!
The Café / Aztecs came up big in the slop of Beverwyck Park Sunday. The game followed the traditional wet weather style of football. Number one play field position football, and number two limit your turnovers. As the end of the game approached Café relied on Mallers head coach Luke Posniewski to toss the rock and Legends went with Mallers WR Culture Branch. In the conditions on Sunday neither QB looked like world-beaters. However, a win is a win and café pulled off a solid 8-0 victory. The win propels café to 3-1 and Legends drops to 1-3. If the Mallers have to rely on one of these QB’s in the semifinals Saturday we’re in trouble.

"B" DIVISION
CONDITIONS HURT!
When you have a big game like the one at Lincoln Park Sunday you hope the conditions would favor the teams and not the gods. Unfortunately the teams let their fate be determined by the gods and some sloppy football. The game can go either way depending on turnovers and field position. In the case of the Falcons one score was all they needed in a 7-0 victory over previously unbeaten O’Leary’s. Each team sports a 3-1 record leaving only Dynasty as the lone unbeaten in Albany.

"C" DIVISION
MISFITS NO MORE!
The Misfits may want to change their name to something that represents a 3-1 team. When you play in sloppy conditions and manage 26 points you deserve a better name. That’s right a 26-19 victory over the Stockade Patriots gave the Misfits a record to be proud of with 5 games remaining. The Patriots winless coming into the game could have gave the Misfits a loss, killing their hopes of a division title. On the flip side the Patriots could have jumped back into playoff contention, as the season remains young. If, if, if that’s why we play the games someone once said. The bottom line is the Misfits look fit on their way to a playoff berth.

METRO-FORD Mallers Weekly News!
The Mallers rested for the weekend enjoying a break and thinking about their 9-1 regular season record, best in the EFL. Downstate the Tri-State Bulldogs and Broome County Dragons played in a quarterfinal game for the right to play the Mallers in Albany. Tri-State won the game 14-6 setting up the rubber match between the two teams. This time the victory will mean a trip to the championship game held in the North (Watertown or Vermont). On a national note the Mallers cracked the top 25 in the country and top ten in the east.

CO-ED
BULLETS FLY!
Two teams unbeaten and one goal, remain at the top. For the Silver Bullets they’re used to big games and generally prevail. On the flip side Linium was in unchartered waters and looked to make a statement to the league. The problem for Linium was the Bullets coming off three championships and on a roll this fall would not be denied shooting Linium down 35-13. The MVP’s of this game, the entire female roster of the Bullets. While the loss hurts, Linium is still 2-1 and in great shape for the playoffs.
