Just wondering, I play in the Troy C and I saw that the Eagles actually have a
coach!! He was yelling at em when I was around, I thought it was funny. I'd like
to see one of these coaches contracts! Maybe I should stop working and coach flag??

| A potential semifinal match-up took place Sunday between Legends (3-1) and J-Dubbs Black & White (3-1). The teams did not disappoint playing the game close to the vest. J-Dubbs took a 3-0 halftime lead and broke through in the second half as Jesse Ward hit Rippy Campbell on a post corner for the 10-0 lead. Legends down but not out scored on a Nick Davidson sweep play cutting the lead to 10-6. With less than a minute remaining Legends drove inside the red zone only to have QB Rich Mejecka throw a perfect hook pass to a wide open Ice Mcgreevy. The problem was Ice, Ice baby was on the other team. According to the A.P. wire no Legend receiver was in the vicinity. |

| Even without the ultimate Raider the Troy Raiders continue to roll. A nail biting 21-14 victory over the Alpha Knights solidifies first place in the Albany division. A Raider loss would have created a 4-way tie at the top. The Raiders loss a DL to the “A” division a couple of weeks ago and the team continues to overcome the stigma of not having a legitimate QB. How can any team argue the fact the Raiders are number one in team offense and number three in team defense. The Raiders sport a 5-0 record and will be dangerous come playoff time. I know it’s early but how about the Raiders and Aztecs in the show with undefeated records? |

The Chiefs took charge of their season Sunday defeating the Louis Deli Growlers 18-13 in a battle of undefeated Troy powers. The win leaves the Chiefs and Empire One as the only undefeated teams left in the Troy division. With four weeks remaining the 5-0 teams have all but locked up playoff spots. The Chiefs are expected to do well this season and improve on their playoff run of a season ago. Empire One however, has shocked the CDFFL world by posting a 5-0 record and looking very strong in doing so. W1 knocked off Schenectady rival Rotterdam Raiders 40-25 Sunday and in doing so have the number one ranked offense in the CDFFL (29pts per gm). |
