| The Knights looked flat on Sunday and paid the price. Starting 3-1 in the “A” division is nice but maintaining that level throughout the season is difficult. The Knights played two tough games in a row Sunday and lost by a combined scored of 41-0. First, the Cannoneers took them apart 27-0 and then the defending champion Black & White beat them 14-0. The losses are tough to take for a first year “A” team, but a 3-3 record is still very good with 3 games remaining. |

| Imagine you are playing your 20th regular season game in the team’s history and the Falcons stand in your way of a perfect 20-0 mark. Well Dynasty against many of the experts predictions pulled off the 18-12 victory over a tough Falcon team and stand alone in the “B” division with a perfect 5-0 record. You may not hear much of Dynasty because in their first two seasons they bowed out of the playoffs earlier than expected. The Dynasty playoff record is about .500 and yet no team has beaten them in the regular season. |

| Show time came and went Sunday. The anticipated match up between the 5-0 Growlers and the 5-0 Ralph’s Big Uglies did not disappoint. The Uglies coming over from Schenectady took the Troy division over by defeating the Growlers 27-23. In all likelihood the victory will lock up the division title for the Uglies with three games remaining. Only three teams remain in the “C” division with undefeated records and the Uglies are sitting pretty as one of those teams. |

The season started with registrations in February, a mini-camp in March, a coach’s camp in April, and practice beginning in May. The end to our Empire Football League march came Saturday night with a 39-0 victory over the Watertown Red & Black in Watertown. The crowd was stunned as the Mallers put together their best game of the season at the right time bringing back the championship early Sunday morning. The celebration on the long bus ride home was filled with both happiness and relief. The player’s bodies and the coach’s minds were spent after months of hard work. The 14-2 Mallers will accept an invitation too one of many national tournament offers. Next Game NATIONALS TBA |
