"A" DIVISION
COACHING QUESTIONED!
The Cannoneers 3-3 entering the game we’re desperate for a victory. W.T.’s 5-1 coming in wanted the division lead to themselves for the remainder of the regular season. The Cannoneers showed some fortitude and scored two TD’s and one XP before W.T.’s could get on the board. W.T.’s had two chances inside the Cannoneer 5-yard line only to pass on the field goals for failed TD chances. The game could have been 6-6 at one point rather than 13-0 in the second half. The W.T.’s offense made some great plays scoring twice and making the score 13-12 Cannoneers. Once again W.T.’s passed on their kicker and went for two and the win. The conversion failed and W.T.’s left 7 points (2FG’s and 1XP) off the scoreboard.

"B" DIVISION
SAME STORY EVERY WEEK!
I hate to beat a dead horse week in and week out, but Lanies Café is tearing up the “B” division in their quest for back to back titles in two different divisions. The latest victory a 20-14 nail bitter over a tough Finke Blue Devils team improves Lanies record to 5-1 with three to go. Lanies controls its own destiny for the regular season division title. Seedings will be important as the top seed will most likely play a team with one win. The show starts in three weeks and Lanies will try and stay as hot as the weather.

"C" DIVISION
TROY SHOOTOUTS!
Two of the four games played Sunday produced some exciting football. First Softex knocked off the Growlers 23-21 giving each team 4-3 records with 2 games remaining. Then Delorey’s survived a scare from the Bakery 34-33 improving their record to 5-2. The Bakery is the best 2-5 team in the league but will most likely miss the playoffs. All the experts picked the Growlers and Softex stuck it hard to the so called experts.

CO-ED
BATTLE OF THE UNDFEATED!
All-American Sports (4-0) and the Shockers (5-0) squared off Saturday for the division lead. All-American took a 12-0 lead and went for one. The Shockers picked off the ball and ran it back 80 yards for the 2-points and cut the lead to 12-2. In the second half the Shockers scored two touchdowns to the Sports one and fell 18-16 in a critical first place match-up. All-Americans defense had to overcome 3 interceptions by QB Frank Rogers to preserve the victory. On a side note Silver Bullets Talisha Hargas made QB Rogers nervous all game with her comments and Rogers checked himself into a hospital for overnight evaluation. Sunday morning Rogers swarmed by the media coming out of the hospital pronounced himself fit after heavy doses of paxil.
