“B” Division Team of the Week:
Wayne Dahl - Cool Insuring Blaze

In a potentially pivotal game for playoff spots in the Albany B's Wayne had a clutch performance ...

- 4 TD Passes to 4 different receivers
- No clue how many yards, but enough to get us 4 TD's with some JT action in between
- Called a great game keeping a top 5 ranked defense guessing all day.

“C” Division Team of the Week:

"A" DIVISION
OVERTIME THRILLER!
Two very good “A” teams squared off Sunday in a key match-up. The Black & White Raiders 3-3 and Café Italia Aztecs 4-2. The games were very important for seeding purposes and will settle the tiebreaker between the two teams. The score at the end of regulation was an ugly 0-0. In overtime the raiders took the ball first and scored. The Raider XP (1) was good and Café was faced with a do or die situation. Café responded with a TD and decided to go for two and the win. The ball thrown in the end zone was juggled and Café went down 7-6 in a barnburner.

"B" DIVISION
WORLD TWO!
I know their real name is World One, but the boys faced two tough opponents on Sunday and swept the day. First a 30-14 victory over the struggling Gamecocks (2-5) and then a tough 19-13 win over the Chiefs (3-4). The victory improves World One’s record to 6-1 with two games remaining. The Finke Blue Devils are still in control of the division based on the tiebreaker.

"C" DIVISION
Growlers Fierce!
The Growlers were a little pissed off about the loss last week in an undefeated match-up with the Big Uglies. Unfortunately the Growlers did not have a patsy waiting for them this week. At 5-1 The Ruck figured to be a tough opponent. The Growlers did take the game 31-24 and avoided a two game losing streak and third place. On the flip side the Big Uglies had a let down and were stunned 28-6 by the Barnstormers now 4-2.

METRO-FORD Mallers Weekly News!
The season started with registrations in February, a mini-camp in March, a coach’s camp in April, and practice beginning in May. The end to our Empire Football League march came Saturday night with a 39-0 victory over the Watertown Red & Black in Watertown. The crowd was stunned as the Mallers put together their best game of the season at the right time bringing back the championship early Sunday morning. The celebration on the long bus ride home was filled with both happiness and relief. The player’s bodies and the coach’s minds were spent after months of hard work. The 14-2 Mallers will accept an invitation too one of many national tournament offers.

CO-ED
JUNE IN OCTOBER!
Quigley’s avoided an upset knocking off Linium 14-13 behind the strong MVP play of Ricky “sticky hands” June. A loss would have been costly for Quigley’s playoff seeding. All is well in Brozowski land and at 4-2 with two games remaining the team looks good heading into the playoffs.
