I was about to post a question about a ball placement rule that happened during the
Quigley's vs. Troy Raiders game. Quigley's missed a short field goal (from inside the 10)
and the ball was then spotted on the 20. I know a lot of people on the sideline, including me,
were surprised that the ball wasn't spotted at the spot of the missed kick. Having looked it up
before posting, it was the right call. Just wanted to say good job to the ref making the call.

| Like the Kansas City Chiefs the W.T.’s Mean Machine started the season 0-3 and really needed a win to regain their confidence. Well, the Chiefs beat Baltimore and the Mean machine upset the Predators 10-7 Sunday to erase the zero from there win column! Defense was the key and W.T.’s hung tough until the offense could get on track. Yes, everyone in the “A” division makes the playoffs but having to face the number one seed in round one is not an easy task. W.T.’s will have five games remaining before the playoffs and some quality wins will improve their all-important confidence. |

| The Aztecs are turning into the new Foshee Pools of the Schenectady “B” division. Rolling through the regular season and waiting for the playoffs like a kid waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve. Foshee rolled for many seasons and always seem to lose in the playoffs. The playoffs erase the records and gives the underdog an edge come playoff time. The latest victim Play-By-Play Sports played well, but could not penetrate a strong Aztec defense and lost 17-6. Will the Aztecs inherit the Foshee curse? I’ll let you know in 6 weeks or so! |

| The Titans a brand new team to the CDFFL have taken the Albany division by storm starting 4-0. The latest casualty, the Ziggy Bears a 20-7 loser on Sunday! The Titans are led by CDFFL vet Gary Jones a long time RB for the Lang Media team and recent SUNY ALBANY football star! Gary broke many records at Suny prior to finishing his career. The Titans rely on the second rated offense (25pts per gm) and a timely defense to win games. Only time will tell if these former football player’s will tackle the CDFFL “C” division. |
