I would like to invite everyone to come to The Pit on Sunday Nov 13th from 1pm to ? to help support the troops. A very good friend of mine, Jules, has 2 sons in the Marines (Luke and Zach). I know some people have played ball with and against Zach Holden in the CDFFL. Zach is in Iraq right now and Luke is now in Missouri after being injured in Iraq 2 yrs ago. She asks that you bring something that we can send overseas to all the soldiers (and other former CDFFLer's) serving. Items would include (travel sizes) all toiletries (shampoo, soap, shaving cream, razors, toothpaste etc...)Snacks(slim jims, beef jerky, hard candy, power bars, etc) powder drinks (gatorade or energy drinks)or cash (because sending packages gets to be expensive).
The PIT is at 138 Washington Ave, 2 blocks down from Lark St across from the Albany History Museum. Any questions just email me at bbush3@nycap.rr.com
Thanks |

| In what many thought would be a game for the ages and a chance for Legends to give the Cannoneers their first loss of the season turned into a stinker of a game. Legends defense was constantly under assault, and like usual kept the team in the game hoping the offense would produce a drive. Only once in the game did Legends produce a drive in the red zone and it quickly vanished on downs. Legends without hall of fame running back Nick Davisdon have become a one dimensional offense. Legends constantly forced the ball to Dante Barker and the Cannoneer defense caught on. The Cannoneers 6-0 victory gives the team a 5-0 record and half game lead over the Mean Machine now 5-1. |

| Is it fair to say the Blaze are the best 4-2 team in the CDFFL? The Blaze knocked off another good team in World One Sunday 28-21 and have established themselves as a super bowl contender. Victories over Black & White (5-1), Marx’s (5-1), and now W1 (4-2) give the Blaze the credibility they deserve. Teams must be shaking with the possibility of playing the Blaze in the first round of the playoffs. The Blaze has the 3rd best record in their own division yet maybe the best team in the “B” division. And you thought Halloween is scary, wait for the playoffs. |

| Well, the scheduler maker got this one right. Albany’s Silver Bullets 5-0 against Troy’s O’Leary’s Lions 4-1! The game met expectations and could be a super bowl preview. The intense playoff caliber game came down to XP’s and the Bullets pulled out a 21-20 victory. The Bullets playing in a weaker division proved they are one of the best teams in the “C” and should make a super bowl run! The Lions playing in the toughest division and used to championship games week in and week out find themselves 4-2 and in a dog fight with several other teams for the two seed. |
