"A" DIVISION (Super 10)
BUSINESS AS USUAL!!!
The Cannoneers continue to dominate the “A” division and this season is no exception. The boys from Watervliet capped off a 12-0 season by defeating Legends 26-6 @ Bleecker Stadium Sunday. Legends tried using their best athletes to negate the Cannoneer organization and machine like offense. Nothing worked for Legends on offense or defense. Legends did not attack the Cannoneer weaknesses on defense and failed to find an answer to the Cannoneer offense. Many tournament teams have tried to match greater speed against the Cannoneers only to fail when trying to stop their precision offense. Legends will go back to the drawing board and the Cannoneers will attempt to win $6,000 on Sunday December 19th.

"B" DIVISION
TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS!
The Aztecs suffered many tough losses in the past and 2004 was to be their year. The Aztecs lost one game to the Bucs and then in championship form came storming back winning their remaining games and only giving up two scores in the playoffs. The Storm entering new waters seemed a bit overmatched losing 32-6. The league wanted to see the Troy Raiders take on the Aztecs but the Storm proved to be the better team that day. The Aztecs did everything the league put in front of them winning their first “B” championship in dominating fashion. In sloppy conditions Chad Smith was dominating cutting back against the grain and leaving Storm defenders in the mud. The Aztec defense stepped up BIG in the playoffs and deserves much of the credit.

"C" DIVISION
A SEASON TO REMEMBER!
Empire Corp. / World One came into the season facing some stiff competition in the Troy division. Coach Jon Foshee made some changes from his spring 2004 team most notably bringing in Metro-Maller QB Kenny Schaefer to lead the offense. Schaefer brings a strong arm and poise to a talented offense with some big receivers. The Super Bowl would be played against old Schenectady rival, the Vipers in sloppy conditions at Bleecker Stadium. Although World One dominated the game the Vipers scored with little time remaining to tie the score at 6-6. It was double overtime before the World One offense could punch in the winning TD and set off a wild celebration. The World One defense stepped up big on Sunday and after the game the players carried coach Jon Foshee off on their shoulders.

CO-ED
DAZED CONFUSES ALL COMERS!!
Dazed and Confused a standing joke on This Week In Flag Football many seasons ago is having the last laugh. A dominating performance in both games Saturday left Dazed standing once again as the champions of the coed world. In the semifinals they destroyed a very good Andy’s Sports Bar team 45-12 and followed that game up with a 24-0 victory over the Silverbullets in the championship. Not since 1998 has a coed team one back to back titles and for the first time in league history a team has one two titles in the same calendar year. The leagues MVP’s go to Brian Weiss & Heather Fiore!
