THIS WEEK'S TRIVIA QUESTIONLAST WEEK'S TRIVIA ANSWER
If goal posts are available at the field, do you need two extra roster players to make a FG attempt? When is the 35-point mercy rule in effect?

Answer:
In the second half during wet weather rules.

QUOTE OF THE WEEKPLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Mike Cancer almost killed today.....
While attending to my bathroom needs at halftime of the Ruck/Savages game, I was heading back towards the Ruck bench. As I walked through the gate down by the dumpster, I saw Cancer cramming my last donut, given to me by World One, into his mouth. As I yelled at him, and with white powder all over his mouth, he ran out onto the field for the kickoff. By the time I reached the bench, I was out of breath thus unable to kill Mike Cancer for his obvious lack in judgement. Mike, you bastard...if you only know how close you were to meeting your maker!!

"A" DIVISION
Titans Get First "A" Win
The Titans got their first "A" victory against the Warriors this past Sunday thanks mostly in part to Gary Jones being back at the helm.  The Titans scored more points in this game than in the previous two combined.  They got it going early when Gary Jones rolled out to his left and decided to run the ball and he took off down the sideline for 60 yards and the score.  But soon after, John Slater, playing QB with Jesse Ward not being there, made a huge run of his own to get down inside the 10 yard line.  A couple of plays later, Slater hit WR Hyra over the middle for the TD.  The extra point failed thus making the score 7-6 Titans.  The Titans got on the board later when Jones rolled to his left again, but this time he dumped it off to WR Keith Daly, who proceeded to take it up the same sideline Jones scored on earlier, and scored a touchdown himself.  With a 14-6 lead, and 2 minutes to go, the Titans had the game in hand.  Slater then drove his team down to the 40 yard line and hit Trombley at the 18 yard line.  With his whole team yelling for him to get out of bounce, he decided to take the ball up the field and a couple of missed tackles later he was in for the score.  Having to go for two and the tie, Slater tried hit Bonkoski on an out pattern that was broken up by DB Consolver, thus preserving the Titans first win of the season!!

"B" DIVISION
STORM CONTINUES
Most storms last a few hours or a day at best. The Storm playing in the CDFFL has lasted 3 weeks and continues to rage at record paces. The Storm improved to 3-0 after a 20-0 victory over Jiff-e-Mart. Starting 3-0 is nothing new for the league but the storm has dropped off in recent years after a great run. For some reason the team is looking strong heading into the meat of their schedule. Any team scoring 91 points and giving up 6 over three games should be taken seriously. The Storm will play the Chiefs (2-0) their toughest opponent to date on Sunday and we will see how they perform.

"C" DIVISION
DANGER IN ALBANY
Imagine starting 2-1 and looking up at the playoff teams if the season ended today. The Albany division looks just that way as two possibly three teams would have been eliminated if the playoffs began next week. With the amount of teams in the “C” division the possibility of missing the playoffs after finishing 5-3 is a real! The unthinkable becomes thinkable for some “C” teams next season. Maybe moving up to the “B” division and where 8 of 13 teams advance gives some teams a better chance of advancing to postseason play.

CO-ED
SHOWDOWN
Week three presents itself with an early season showdown between two undefeated teams. Quigley’s held on for a 25-18 victory over the Bullets and the Mind Erasers with a schedule that rivals Quigley’s with a .44 rating, the toughest in the league will face each other Saturday. Quigley’s is a dynasty in the making, but the Mind Erasers have jumped out to a great start, including a 28-20 victory over the runner-up Shockers on Saturday. A loss by either team will not hurt their playoff chances but a win by the Mind Erasers will turn the leagues heads 360 degrees.
