"A" DIVISION (Super 10)
GREAT TEAM / GREAT FOOD!
CAFÉ Italia on Central Avenue has the best Italian food in the Capital District and now they may have the best football team in the CDFFL. Yes, I know they have not played the Cannoneers yet but after a 33-0 victory over Foshee Pools Café deserve some credit. On Sunday Café will face the 2-1 J-Dubbs and will be their biggest test to date. Do you need more convincing? How about a 54-7 PF/PA best in the “A” division. Who are these guys? The same cats from years past? Not sure but will learn a lot more on Sunday.

"B" DIVISION
DEFENSIVE!
Quigley’s has come from no-where to become a power in the “B” division. On Sunday Quigley’s and the Knights each 2-0 squared off for first place. The Knights ran hard and talked loud driving the ball into Quigley territory on their first few drives. Quigley’s held tough in the red-zone and limped into half 0-0. The Quigley offense is not pretty but a screen pass went 60 yards for a TD, but the score was reversed on a penalty. Half way through the second half Quigley’s put together a drive and scored on a 20-yard flare into the left side of the end zone and 7-0 lead. The Knights found no answer to the Quigs defense and left the field 2-1 and scratching their heads.

"C" DIVISION
BIG HYPE / BIG LOSS
Troy took center stage Sunday. Three 2-0 teams took the field. The Chiefs and Growlers played for first place or at least a share of the divisional lead. The Troy Predators no relation to the “A” Predators also 2-0 looked to stay undefeated. The Chiefs turned the game into a boring blowout 38-9 sending the Growlers back to the drawing board. The Predators looking forward dropped a 31-7 game to the 0-1 O’Leary’s Lions. I guess the Chiefs look to be a clear cut runaway after 3 games?

CO-ED
SHIELD BREAKS
The Shield coming into the game 2-0 found out just how good the Silver Bullet girls are. No team in the league can keep up with Cooper and Hargis. Hargis won MVP honors for her playmaking ability. SB playing without Dula and Adrianne B. still managed a 35-14 victory over the upstart Shield.
