"A" DIVISION
BATTLE OF THE QUARTERBACKS!
The battle may never happen again. But Sunday Metro-Maller starting quarterback Scott Lawson (Legends) and former back-up Kenny Schaefer (World One) faced off in a critical game for each team. Lawson looked strong in the first half building a 13-0 lead, before young Schaefer (now starting for Amsterdam) used his legs and arm to mount a 2TD comeback and stole the show 14-13. Each QB will have stellar season in semi-pro and may even face each other in the “A” division playoffs. For now it was a battle of quality QB’s guiding their teams to a potential “A” title.

"B" DIVISION
SKY’S THE LIMIT!
We now know Skyline’s roster includes some Union College player’s and a lot of talent. Skyline now 4-0 knocked off the previously undefeated Gamecocks 26-14 using strong defense and timely offense. Skyline ranks first in offense and second in defense, no smoke and mirrors with this team. Skyline will no longer fly under the radar and must avoid the rookie jinx with 4 games remaining before the playoffs.

In other news the Lions are now 4-0 after an impressive 19-13 victory over the regular season kings, Dynasty. Dynasty averages 22 points per game, but managed only 13 against the fourth ranked defense in the division. The Lions are also the number one ranked team according to the power rankings on-line.

"C" DIVISION
QUICKLY OUT OF THE GATE!
Quick Response finished the first half of the season with a perfect 4-0 record. The latest victory came at the hands of the 4Runners a team many consider to be the worse in the “C” division. It’s hard to argue the fact Quick Response features the number one offense and number 3 defense in the entire “C” division. The next 4 games will make or break Quick Response. Quick Response faces Emma’s, Holmes & Watson, The Ruck, and Lanies Café a combined 11-5 to date.

CO-ED
J.K. and GANG Start Fast!
The last time Andy’s Maniacs won the coed title was back in the fall of 2000. Imagine before 9-11 and the Iraq war when the country maintained some innocence. After years of bad records and bad quarterbacks the team is back on track with a new attitude, a new quarterback and a 3-1 record half way through the season. The latest conquest for Andy’s a 27-6 victory over the Lionheart. Jen “AKA the Enforcer” led the way with MVP status giving her QB enough time to take apart the Lionheart defense. Look out coed world Andy’s is back.
