THIS WEEK'S TRIVIA QUESTIONLAST WEEK'S TRIVIA ANSWER
What’s the largest margin of victory in any one championship? How many championships can any one team win in the “B” and “C” divisions?

Answer: 1 Championship

35 points

QUOTE OF THE WEEKPLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Mike Gallo, Head Official, was undressing me with his eyes all day!!! I have never felt so violated in my whole life. I am a person, Mike, not a piece of meat!!

Wags

“A” Division Player of the Week:
Black & White Team

“B” Division Player of the Week:
Watching Larry Starks run all the time is a treat. Watching him leap between two defenders scoring a touchdown and making the two defenders run into each other is priceless.Luckily noone was really injured so I thought it needed a nomination.

“C” Division Player of the Week:
Brenden O'Brien, Rotterdam Raiders
Scored all 16 points with a great catch in the back of the end zone, a 40 yard run after the catch for another TD and 4 points kicking. He also grabbed numerous flags on defense, caught several passes on offense.and his kickoffs went into the endzone.

To nominate player of the week, post your nomination on our announcement board by 10:00am Monday.

"A" DIVISION
SCORES VERY BLACK & WHITE!
The Black & White Raiders came into Sunday at 2-2 and facing a doubleheader. Games against Nico’s and W.T.’s did not cry sweep. The mindset must have been lets beat Nico’s and hope W.T.’s plays tired after facing the Cannoneers in the morning. In game one the Black & White defense, the second best defense in my opinion to Legends stood tall and posted a 7-0 shutout. In game two they faced a confident W.T.’s coming off a 32-0 victory over the previously unbeaten Cannoneers, minus Kevin Deguire. Once again the B&W defense held W.T.’s to one score and walked away with a 13-6 victory and Sunday sweep.

"B" DIVISION
SKY’S STAY BLUE!
The weather men were incorrect once again. We almost cancelled based on Saturday night’s rain and the expectation of rain throughout Sunday. Luckily gut instinct & 13 years of making these types of decisions told me to play the games. By 9:00am the sun shined down on the fields and the games began. At high noon the Barnstormers (0-4) were scheduled to roll over for the 4-0 Skyline team. Skyline came into the game without QB Tony Marotta (Union College) and the offense suffered. The Barnstormers came into the game like it was their super bowl. Late in the game the Barnstormers scored to cut the lead to 14-13 Skyline. The Barnstormers decided to go for two and failed losing the game and ending their limited playoff chances.

"C" DIVISION
CLEAR AS GLASS!
Niskayuna Glass Misfits and BMW came into the game 4-0 and looking to make a statement. The Misfits put pressure on the BMW defense and offense all game. The difference came in the red zone as the Misfits converted twice, good enough for a 13-0 victory. BMW failed anytime they advanced into Misfit territory. We expected more scoring as the weather and field conditions were good. Although the Misfit defense played well, the BMW offense seemed out of synch, and the player’s argued during and after the game.

CO-ED
BLINDING UNIFORMS!
Dazed and Confused coming off a 37-0 victory over previously unbeaten All-American looked to make sure the let down game was not Saturday. The Velma’s playing very well at 3-1 looked to stay within one game of unbeaten I Love NY. Dazed and Confused and their tye-dyed uniforms blinded the Velmas offense winning 25-6 behind the MVP performance of Ben “The Beast” Roberts. Dazed now 4-1 claimed second place and will not play I Love NY in the regular season. The playoffs will be a different animal.
