| Café Italia coming off one of the greatest wins in CDFFL history felt the week after hangover so many teams do after a monster win. The Predators with an abundance of talent came correct Sunday grinding out a 20-18 victory over the division leaders. Predator co-captain Matt Flowers said, “the margin of victory should have been greater”. The “A” division is now a race to the finish with Café still controlling their own destiny. If Café wins out they would be the division champs and receive a first round bye into the semifinals. |

| The days of saying the Finke Blue Devils are a nice organized team that fails in the playoffs may be over. Finke made a big statement knocking off the Bucs (5-0) 19-0 in a game for sole possession of first place. Finke used a solid offense with a dominating defense to show the Bucs “who’s their daddy”. Finke now 6-0 can secure the number one seed with two more wins. |

The Rotterdam Raiders struggle each week fielding no more than ten player’s. In addition a 40+ coach that plays offense and defense. Some how they have beaten the marginal teams in Schenectady but the Vipers came calling on Sunday sporting a 5-0 record. In Raider fashion they pulled off the upset Sunday 24-19 improving to 5-1 and knocking the Vipers from the unbeaten ranks. The Titans at 6-0 remain the only unbeaten team left in Schenectady.
In other news the Growlers faced a determined O’Leary’s Lions team barely holding on for a 34-33 victory in one of the most exciting games of the entire year. |
