W.T.’s Mean Machine coming off a loss last week to Black & White wanted to reestablish themselves as an “A” division power. Legends came knocking, and the task seemed daunting for W.T.’s. The Mean Machine would face the two toughest defenses back to back weeks and needed a split. W.T’s found a defense of their own and shut down the Legends offense minus QB Scott Lawson out for the week. The 6-0 victory propels W.T.’s (2-1) into the number one defense in the “A” division and gives them the confidence to play any type of game week in and week out.

The Falcons playing one of the toughest early season schedules in the CDFFL found themselves 0-2, and playing a playoff game on May 6th. If the Falcons luck could get any worse they faced the defending “C” division champion Firebirds, another team looking to find their way in the “B” division. The Falcons found away to win 21-18 kept their playoff hopes alive heading into Mother’s Day. The game came down to extra-points and the Falcons converted all three.

After drifting around the CDFFL like vagabonds the Cobra-Kai team has finally found a home in Albany. The city of Albany welcomes frat teams and competitive flag teams. The kai’s most recent win, an impressive 30-6 win over the Oldcastle Outlaws. CK now owns a 3-0 record heading into week four and shares first place with the Bourbon St. Warpigs. Interesting enough CK does not own a top five spot in the offense or defensive categories. Does CK use a very balanced attack or is this early season smoke and mirrors? Only time will tell.
