"A" DIVISION
HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!!
Legends once again shocked the CDFFL world by defeating the Cannoneers 19-13 on Sunday. The 19 points is the highest total of the season for the anemic legend offense. Back-up QB Kevin Jansen overcame some interceptions to lead the team to 3 scores. The Cannoneers drove the length of the field in the waning minutes and Kevin Deguire ripped a pass into the arms of Mark Lawlor for what appeared to be the tying TD but Lawlor dropped the ball and the game was over. Legends started the season 0-4 and now have a chance to become the first team in CDFFL history to finish a 0-4 run with 4 straight victories on Sunday.

"B" DIVISION
THE WORLD FALLS UPON A RAM
The Rams came into Sunday with a 3-3 record and two games remaining. The Rams last two games were against division leaders World One and Lynn’s Uptown Gamecocks. Their playoffs started Sunday. In one of the most exciting CDFFL games of the season World one hung on for a 30-27 victory all but eliminating the Rams from playoff contention. We know World One is all-powerful leading the “B” division in offense at 28 points per game, but the Rams have had a great season although their record may not show it. The Rams are fourth in offense in the “B” at 23 points per game. The Rams will be scoreboard watching if they defeat the Gamecocks on Sunday.

"C" DIVISION
DEFENSIVE
Two 6-0 teams squared off in Albany Sunday. Strike Zone and Revolution featuring the number one defenses in the “C” division at 6 points per game. The game was defensive as Strike Zone improved to 7-0 with a hard-hitting 14-6 victory. The Revolution drops to 6-1 with a game left but now find themselves tied for third place with the Firebrids. The Albany division is full of powerhouse teams if you rely on records. Or one may think looking at the bottom of the division (3 teams 0-7) maybe these top 4 teams are over rated. The playoffs will clear this debate up.

ALL-AMERICAN SPORTS AND THE NEW YORK GIANTS PLAN ON TEAMING UP THIS SUMMER @ SUNY ALBANY FOR A KIDS FLAG CAMP. STAY TUNED

CO-ED
WE ALL LOVE NEW YORK
I love NY started the season 0-3 and the experts worried if they would be able to bounce back and make the playoffs. Well 4 straight victories including a 27-21 win Saturday over Dazed and Confused has given the team a 4-3 record with one game left. If the season ended today the Lovers would be in the playoffs. Dazed losing eliminated any chance for the regular season title and they must win Saturday to maintain second place. The must win scenario assumes the Bullets will win Saturday against Fusion.
