"A" DIVISION (Super 10)
BIG PAIR!!
I have to give Coach Carl Patterson of the Predators credit. After announcing backup QB Jesse Ward would start both games Carl’s team went out and defeated the Troy Spartans 12-7. Then in the overtime shootout against Legends the Predators went for two and the win instead of a one-point conversion sending the game into double O.T.! Yes, it’s true the Predator kicking game was not strong but with Todd Ward in the backfield a one point run/pass conversion would have been just as easy. The call for the two-points was a slant to Chico Holmes who dropped the pass due to interference by DB Mike Slurff. The call was a no brainier and the Predators tried for two-points again from the one-yard line. This time Greg Mox the TE snuck into the back corner for the catch and win. The Predators will play the Cannoneers in the Superbowl @10:45am Sunday.

"B" DIVISION
DOUBLE-DIP!!
The Troy Raiders did not receive a lot of fan fair during the season because of the Warriors surprise regular season and DeJohn’s beating them out for the second seed out of Albany. The Raiders still finished 6-2 in a very strong Albany division. Three out of four teams in the semifinals are from Albany. In game one Troy defeated Quigleys 35-23 in a high scoring affair. Then in game two the Raiders defeated the Gamecocks 22-7 in a surprisingly easy game. The Gamecocks finished second in Schenectady and were fresh for their game. The Raiders used speed to out run the Gamecocks and march to the semifinals.

"C" DIVISION
HISTORY!
For the first time in the history of the CDFFL a #16 seed defeated the #1 seed. The Firm had all the credentials, Albany division title, 7-1 record, 209 points scored and only 69 given up, and the number one overall seed in the “C” division. The Vipers limped in with a 4-4 record and the reputation of being to old and choking in the playoffs. Well, the Vipers came out loose using a great defensive effort in their 19-6 victory and The Firm could only fall to their knees stunned at the outcome. In game two the Vipers emotionally high over the win ran into the Intimidators a very hot team losing 21-8 and ending their dream run.

CO-ED
FINALLY
Dazed and Confused came through in dramatic fashion Saturday! First, in the semifinals they were outplayed for 50 minutes and found themselves down 24-6 to All-American Sports! With ten minutes to go Dazed confused ASR scoring 20 points and securing a spot in the championship against the Big Dogs. I thought Dazed would be to drained for another heart wrenching game but they came through again holding on for a 28-27 victory.
