"A" DIVISION
HOME RUN!!
7th Inning Stretch continued their winning ways Sunday. Game one they knocked off the Warriors 10-0 and then defeated the number one seeded and well rested Cannoneers 7-0. The motto for the Stretch seems to be “if the other team doesn’t score we should win”. I can’t remember the last time the Cannoneers were shutout. It’s very possible the Cannoneers have never been shut out. The Stretch will rely on great defense and timely offense in its effort for championship number two on July 8th. The opponent will be the Black & White Express the fall 2005 “B” champions. Black & White also plays great defense and has a better ball control offense than the Stretch.

"B" DIVISION
BE-HEADED!!!
The Untouchables took the Knights to the guillotine Sunday stopping the number three offense with strong defense in a 6-0 semifinal victory. The victory is not shocking for many but the score is a bit surprising. The Knights balanced offense could not solve the Untouchable defense. The surprise comes in the fact the Untouchables do not feature a top five defense and the Knights scored points and won the regular season match-up. The Knights would gladly trade the regular season victory with Sunday’s loss. The opponent for the Untouchables will be Schenectady powerhouse World One a 30-24 winner over the Gamecocks.

"C" DIVISION
FINAL FOUR!!!
On Saturday July 8th four talented teams will take to the fields of Central Park. The goal is to make the 2-mile trip to the plush and hollowed grounds of Union College. The 2-mile trip might as well be 100-miles away in distance and fan-fare. If you lose on the sandy fields of Central Park the season for these teams will be a disappointment. The big four are, Strike Zone, O’Leary’s, Ralph’s Body Service, and Capital Cities. O’Leary’s are the favorites but good teams have played them close all year.

Championship Odds

O’Leary’s: 3-1
Strike Zone: 5-1
Capital Cities: 8-1
Ralph’s: 10-1

CO-ED
CHALKERS WIN QUARTERS!!
The term chalkers in the betting world refers to the favorites. Well, it was a chalk day in the coed playoffs Saturday. We normally see some upsets in the close nit coed world but not on this spring. The top three seeds all one and the number five beat the number four not a big surprise. The semi-finals and championship will be filled with great teams and the Silver Bullets vs. Dazed should be one for the ages. On the flip side don’t sleep on Fusion even though Quigley’s has had the best season thus far.
