The football gods (Cannoneers) went down Sunday @ the hands of some wily CDFFL vets. Legends the
number two seed did not get much respect during the regular season but ripped off 3 straight victories in
two weeks to become the kings of the CDFFL world.

| 1) A player put on probation before a suspension will receive an automatic suspension for the next incident of any nature before, during or after a CDFFL game. |
| 2) A player put on probation after a suspension will be suspended for the entire season and possibly beyond for the next suspendable infraction before, during or after a CDFFL game. |
| 3) Rained-out games don’t count toward suspension but forfeits do count! |
Guys like Hotaling, Kent, and Bianchino bounced around for many season before joining Legends and now in the twilight of their careers they pull off the big upset. The 7-6 victory propels Legends into the final four and two games from $6,000 CASH! Legends will play against the Rochester, Long Island, and New Jersey champs for the loot. A lot of credit belongs to the Legends defense, by putting pressure on Cannoneer QB Kevin Deguire all game forcing mistakes into the hands of Charlie Bianchino and Danta Barker.
Schenectady rival Nico's World One Empire 26-21! In the big one the Raiders of Troy stormed out early but fell to the Warriors 34-12 as QB Bob Catania led the offense on a scoring barrage shocking the boys from Troy. The Warriors have vowed to stay together and play in the “A” division with their veteran QB Bob Catania also an “A” champion. The Warriors will now compete for the AFTFL National Title in Long Island.
Colin without pause said, “Yes they are very talented”. Well Sunday proved to everyone Jiff-e-Mart is the crown jewel of the CDFFL world. First in the semifinal they defeated the Barnstormers and then after falling behind 10-0 to the Growlers came storming back behind QB/Coach Bill Chenot for a 26-16 victory. Chenot also took home MVP and Coach honors! Look for Jiff to fair well in Long Island for the National title July 23/24.
