"A" DIVISION (Super 10)
THOUSANDS OF REASONS TO WIN!
After watching the Cannoneers fall behind Sunday 9-7 I commented on their age and how with money on the line they may falter this season. Well, they created points off turnovers and once again got the job done defeating Legends 20-15 in the fall opener. I believe each of these teams will meet in the super bowl for the right to go on to the PRO CHAMPIONSHIPS in December. The creation of the PRO LEAGUE gives teams in four different leagues the chance to win $6,000.00 and secure their teams place in history. The Cannoneers could build a bar in slum ridded Watervliet with that kind of loot!

"B" DIVISION
PLAY-BY-PLAY THEY GET IT DONE!!!
I admit I was a little worried Play-By-Play would not compete well in the “B” division. However, after a 29-27 victory over a tough Gamedawg team I must admit I was wrong. The Gamedawgs always seem to lose the tough games but never quit and fight tooth and nail every week. Play By Play will now have to fight threw the Schenectady “B” division and hope to secure a place in the playoffs come November.

In other news DeJohn’s after winning the “B” division last fall have decided to break up rather than try the “A” division. I guess the team was built for the “B” division and the “A” division can be a bit overwhelming to the new champs.

"C" DIVISION
TWO OLD COACH’S SQUARE OFF!
Glenn Posca (Rotterdam Raiders) and Bob Collins (North Troy Eagles) squared off for the first time in years Sunday. Posca with the second most wins in CDFFL history and Collins making a comeback after taking a few years off. The teams did not disappoint as the Raiders defeated the Eagles 23-20 in Troy. I know the teams will have many tough games down the road, but the game Sunday was a great start toward a playoff run come November.
