"A" DIVISION (Super 10)
WARRIORS COME OUT TO PLAY!
Many thought the 9:00am game @ Beverwyck Park would be a lesson for the Warriors. The Cannoneers 34 seasons of “A” ball would be too much for the “B” champs to handle. On the contrary, the Warriors youthfulness and seasoned QB (Bob Catania) would prove to be a worthy opponent. The game went back and forth until the Cannoneers trailing 14-13 put two scoring drives together and hung on for a 26-20 victory over the upstarts. Every time the Cannoneers would seem to pull away the Warriors would strike back quickly with a dazzling array of Catania passes. Catania’s unorthodox delivery and knack for delivering the ball accurately resulted in receptions for a talented receiving core. On the flip side his accuracy also proved costly with multiple interceptions on deep balls. The Warriors may not win a championship this season but they certainly belong in the “A” division.

"B" DIVISION
SHUTOUT WEEK!
Seven “B” games and five shutouts! The scores resemble an afternoon in the “A” division. The only close game was a 24-17 victory by the Ironheads. The average margin of victory was twenty-three points unheard of in the “B” division. Three undefeated teams remain in the “B”s and all three (Untouchables, Knights, Marx’s) posted shutouts. After three weeks of action teams are starting to separate themselves from the wannabe’s! The regular season game of the year should be the Untouchables vs. Marx’s Roofing.

"C" DIVISION
BATTLE OF UNBEATENS!
Two games featured undefeated teams Sunday! In the West the Cowboys defeated the Raiders 12-7 sounds like an NFL game. And in the South the Silver Bullets took apart the Bombers 40-0 (reduced to 35-0) bringing the Bombers back down to earth after a 2-0 start. Will the Bullets finally put together a season worthy of their talent? Will the Cowboys get the respect they deserve after knocking off the Raiders? Can the Bombers bounce back after a devastating loss? These are some of the questions that will be answered in the coming weeks.

In other BIG news the up and down season of the Chiefs continues following another big loss to the Growlers. The Growlers and Barnstormers are now in control of the Northern division with 3-0 records.

CO-ED
DOGS BARK!!!
The Big Dogs came back strong after an opening day loss and defeated Quigley’s 20-7. The game was won and loss in the red zone! On three drives Quigley’s stalled inside the 10-yard line and that was the difference in the game. Each team sports a 1-1 record and will make the playoffs this season. The strength of schedule will favor Quigley’s as they were ranked lower than the Big Dogs in the pre-season poll. Big Dogs coming off a year off relied on MVP Jennifer Thompson to help secure their victory.
