"A" DIVISION (Super 10)
NEW LOOK PREDATORS FIND A RYTHEM!
The Predators with a host of new player’s have started the season 2-1 after a come from behind 21-14 victory over Foshee Pools. Player of the week Tasheik Farooq pulled in 6 receptions for 150 yards and two scores. Keep in mind the Predators lost coach and GM Carl Patterson now a referee, Bo Gaudreau, Jesse Ward, Chris Ward, and Todd Ward. However new coach and GM Matt Flowers has pulled together a team that can compete in the “A” division thus far. The Predators with wins over Foshee 1-2 and the Orange Crush 0-3 have a tough schedule ahead of them but a 2-1 start can never be erased.

"B" DIVISION
SCALING NEW HEIGHTS!!!
Scale Service from the Albany division find themselves 3-0 after a hard fought 12-7 victory over the Bulldogs. Scale has struggled in the Albany “B”s since moving up a few seasons ago. In the past Scale scored at will and their defense let them down! Now with QB Charlie Twiss injured the defense has stepped up and in fact ranks second only to Marx’s Roofing giving up 5 points per game. We all know defense wins championships especially in the fall season when the playoffs = bad weather. Six games to go for the Service and a bye in the first round is not out of the question if they continue to play well.

"C" DIVISION
CHIEFS SCALP EAGLES!
The Chiefs continue to surge as a powerhouse behind the leadership of Michael Parrot. Sunday the Chiefs grinded out a tough 18-15 victory over the North Troy Eagles and remain undefeated. The Chiefs goal this season is not to make the playoffs like in seasons past but to win the championship, and I believe they have what it takes to do so. The other surprise teams in the division are Empire Corp and Louis Deli! Each team finds themselves running with the powers at 3-0! Until we complete the regular season it’s difficult to determine what teams will separate themselves from the pack. Like a marathon we have a long way to go.

CO-ED
VELMAS TRIED AGAIN!!!
Last season in week one the Velmas trailed All-American 12-0 before pulling off a 13-12 victory and storming threw the regular season. This season again in week one All-American jumped out by two TD’s and the Velmas adjusted in the second half scoring twice but failing to catch All-American and losing 18-13. Newcomer Michelle Brozowski played center and earned MVP honors in her first coed game ever.
