"A" DIVISION
FAST START!
The Lions have been very busy since their spring 2007 “B” division championship. First, it was off to the AFTFL summer nationals in Long Island. After taking home the crown in Long Island they won the summer league championship to complete their “B” division career. Next up was the DisCipio tournament in Guilderland NY. They took on some of the best 9-man teams in the country and lost to Team Jordon in the semifinals. Finally the Lions made their CDFFL 9-man debut and defeated the Knights 13-12 led by QB Dan Budka’s two TD passes. Next up, a date with Black & White/Legends.

"B" DIVISION
CHIEFS GO LIMP!
The Chiefs got Cocked 14-12 Sunday by some stiff competition. If you can’t get it up for the extra-points you’re going to lose team stiffness and fall hard on Sunday mornings. The Gamecocks once again look to be a team on the verge of a championship as they put away former Schenectady rival McIntyres Pub Chiefs. Now that the divisions are combined each team will play each other during the season and the cream will rise to the top. The Cocks will have some stiff competition next week against the Cool Insuring Blaze.

"C" DIVISION
TIGERS TURN ORANGE!
Quigley’s Orange Crush coming off a tough semifinal loss to the Misfits last spring turned on the offense in an exciting rain-soaked 31-25 victory over the Lark Tavern Tigers. Although the Tigers lost the game they may be on the verge of a break out season. The Crush, a very tough team took the full 60 minutes to win the game. The Crush led by coach and QB Dave Mosher will expect nothing less than championship.
